Into the Fray: The Truth Hurts

The Truth Hurts: The weekly news, WSER style. The stories of the past week delivered in a semi serious way and then completely torn apart in the aftermath commentary. No indepth analysis, no overlying social agenda. (We only have an hour.) It’s as many stories packed in as fast as possible. The stories are Into the Fray; the commentary is The Truth Hurts.

The Swain Show

A variety type show with a single performer. The Swain is a word that defines itself and the show follows its namesake. Random things interest our host and even more are generally brought to his attention. He delivers always with a sense of humor and outrage about the world around him. The Swain Show is a singular obscure and odd view of the world. It’s not perfect, but it is entertaining.

What's up with that

The term has seeped so far into society that there is no social or economic distinction. The questions brought up during the course of the show are asked by callers ahead of time and are thoroughly researched beforehand. Call-ins are also highly encouraged for this show. The questions are put forth as follows: “What’s up with Obama?” or even, “What’s up with not cuddling after sex”. Etc.
